Hard to believe but I have been here in Shanghai 1 year in a couple of days. Time simply flew by. I am applying for my visa renewal tomorrow which means I am stuck without a passport for 2 weeks+ and therefore cannot travel.

Anyway, moved to a new apartment at the weekend. All went very smoothly. I am still in the same residence TOC (Top of City) but on the other side on Dagu Road. Even closer to my favorite watering hole (right on top of it actually).

I have not quite sorted everything out yet (wireless still not working, no idea how the ice making machine works and a couple of other bits). The apartment however is very nice and I must seriously start planning the house warming party.

Certainly not a holiday…

Anyway, flew down with China Eastern. A boring flight from Shnaghai to Kuala Lumpur. Not very impressed with China Eastern’s entertainement, basically nothing. Next time it is back to Malaysian airline.

Sun is shining for a change and it is as usual tropical hot so I shall go down and relax at the pool for a while till lunch time.
