I really need to sit down and spend some time updating and re-organizing my home page. I have managed to link it with Facebook, so now I need to figure out a way to ensure they complement each other. Some serious thinking to be done I think…

“Good day” & “Good bye” from down under

Saturday Oct 18th - That was a short visit. Currently at the airport in the lounge waiting for my flight to board. Bought a bottle of Bundaberg rum for my australian bar manager and friend in Shanghai. No doubt we shall have a few tonight when I deliver it.
Not looking forward to the long flight back. Simply cannot sleep during the daytime and I have seen all the films on offer.
Had a couple of pleasant eveninggs / dinners with my friend Stephen in Melbourne. Went again to St Jude’s cellar / restaurant on Brunswick street. I quite like the place for some reason.
Thursday Oct 16th - Arrived in Melbourne 36 hours ago. Spring is in the air here. Hotels in town were all full so I am stuck at the airport Hilton. I wake up in the morning to see the 1st A380 from Quantas land from London and the 2nd depart to LA.

Golf of course… Had a bad game yesterday but a lot of fun. The weather was perfect as it is very slowly cooling down here in Shanghai.

Aperitif time last evening

As is often the case, words of mouth go round very quickly and the gang usually ends up for an aperitif at Nova, often followed by dinner somewhere (as it was the case yesterday) …
fun was had by all even if some had to take a business call in between…
