Autumn weekend

Garden work and more garden work.
The highlight being going to the cinema earlier today with the kiddies to see “Ratatouille“.

Just about to go for a cheese and wine “tasting”…

Le Mans 24h - Edition 2008

It certainly looks like planning has yet again started very early. I have therefore started the usual info page on a new site which I am now trying to keep up to date.

A busy weekend and “allez les bleus”

Nothing like a bit of work in the garden to get rid of the mild hangover.

Two parties yesterday starting with Henk’s 50th birthday celebration. Not sure that mixing beer (in the afternoon) and red wine (in the evening) was a good idea.

Who said “money does not grow on trees”…

Best news of the day though is that France did beat New Zealand in the Rugby world cup to advance to the semi final where they will play against England on October 13th.

October 3rd - Bank Holiday

17:30 In the meantime, I have a reply from Bob….

“Never too early to plan indeed and we’ve already been hard at it. You will be interested to know that we have seven confirmed from the UK next year with a possible 8th if Gary decides to come also:

Myself, Bob2, Chris, Rob Bryson + 1, Graham, Nick

I have already applied for Car Park, Entrance and Tribune tickets for this crew

Bob”

16.00 Nice to have a day off in the middle of the week… Am taking the time to start planning for 2008.

A couple of things to note:

  • Le Mans 24h is in theory on June 14th & 15th. I have decided to drive down as I shall take a few days holidays in the south of France after the race.
  • Weekend in Amsterdam with “la bande” in April or May? We should try and fix dates asap.
