Dec 31st 

Arrived in familiar grounds in Port Elisabeth. Nothing planned for New Years eve though.

Dec 30th 

Next stop and overnight down the coast in Plettenberg. Good roads. Got to keep a good look out though. The baboons tend to jump in front of the cars.

Dec 29th 

Overnight stop in Hermanus which is well know for the whales visiting the bay. Did not see any though. Again wild beaches, very few people despite the fact it is the height of the summer holiday season.

It is also more or less the official point where the Atlantic ocean meets the Indian ocean.  I even think I found the demarcation on the sand. So basically I had a foot in each ocean.

Time to leave for Port Elizabeth where work is waiting for me. That means a nice drive with a couple of stops along the garden route.

Dec 28th  

Cape of good hope. Always wanted to go there and it is really worth it.

The scenery is absolutely fantastic.

Dec 27th - Cape Town

Made it to this great city. The views from the very lively water front are lovely. The fact that it is summer and hot is even better.

Dec 26th - Frankfurt airport 

Nothing much to do but to get all my equipment ready. I was not going to drink today, but this one was so nicely offered, I could not refuse.

Dec 26th 

On the move again and for sure the last trip this year

Hardly had the time to play with all the new toys and bits Father xmas brought me that I sit again on a plane.

Made it to Frankfurt an hour ago and now must wait till late this afternoon to catch my next flight (I hate holiday schedules). Nothing much to do but sit in the lounge and play around the net.
